RainMind Privacy Policy

1. Overview

RainMind is provided by OZMANOZCO. This policy explains what information the app processes, why it is used, and how you can contact us.

RainMind lets you view weather for your current location, save areas, check weather and air-quality updates, refresh widgets, and receive optional alerts.

2. Information We Process

Depending on the features you use, the app may process the following categories of information:

• your current latitude and longitude, and the administrative area derived from them, when you choose to use current-location weather
• saved area selections, weather alert schedules, and widget-related settings
• push notification tokens and alert preferences when you enable notifications
• cached widget content needed to refresh home or lock-screen widgets
• crash logs, performance metrics, and basic device information used for stability and analytics
• advertising identifiers and ad interaction signals used to deliver or measure ads

3. Permissions and Device Access

The app asks for device permissions only when they are needed for features you choose to use:

• foreground location permission to determine your current area and show weather for that area; RainMind does not access your location continuously or in the background
• notification permission to send alerts or updates you choose to receive

Current-location weather is optional. If you deny or revoke location permission, you can continue using RainMind by selecting an area manually.

4. How We Use Information

We use processed information for the following purposes:

• to convert your current coordinates into an administrative area and provide weather and air-quality information for that area
• to save selected areas, deliver weather or air-quality alerts, and refresh widgets
• to deliver optional push notifications or reminders you choose to receive
• to deliver ads, manage ad frequency, and measure advertising performance
• to diagnose crashes, improve performance, and monitor overall service stability

5. Sharing and Third-Party Services

We do not sell personal information. Limited data may be processed by service providers that help us operate the app.

The following third-party services may receive or process limited data to help us operate the app:

• Kakao Local API (current coordinates are transmitted to convert them into administrative-area information)
• Google AdMob (advertising)
• Firebase platform services (for analytics, crash reporting, remote config, authentication, cloud data, and notifications)

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Local data usually remains on your device until you remove it, clear the app, or uninstall the app.

RainMind uses current coordinates only to process a current-location weather request. RainMind does not retain precise current coordinates on its servers or in your user account, and does not use them for advertising, movement tracking, or location history. Derived administrative-area information and weather cache data may be retained as needed to provide and refresh weather features.

Saved areas, alert schedules, push tokens, and widget-related cloud data may remain while alert or widget features stay active.

7. Children's Privacy

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it when appropriate.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect the information processed for the app. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to reduce risk appropriate to the app.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when the app, our services, or legal requirements change. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
